Now I want to recommend one romantic place to have a dinner with your boyfriend. Finally, I have found one special place that I think this is the right dating point I have ever wrote haha

So it is Sierra Cafe and Lounge which placed in Jl. Bukit Pakar timur no.33 Bandung, West Java. You can see the light down town from the cafe, especially at night, and it also beautiful at afternoon. It serves many kind of food, from indonesia, asian, and western food. Include of beverage, mocktail, and wine. You can choose whether you want to take outdoor or indoor, and if you want to go at night, I suggest you to get dress warm, you dont want to get cold when you have a romantic dinner don’t you?

Jungle Land Adventure Theme Park

Here is the biggest adventure theme park in Indonesia!

If you feel bored going to Dunia Fantasi Ancol, this park is really recommended to you. May be it is quite far from Jakarta, but it’s really easy to reach. It placed in Sentul Nirwana, Sentul City-Bogor West Java. It has 41 games, 20 attractions, and parades that you can enjoy every day!

You just have to pay about Rp. 100.000/person on weekday (mon-fri) at 10.00-18.00 WIB and Rp. 150/person on weekend (sat-sun) at 10.00-19.00 WIB. They also have students/college student promo (25 person for minimum with the student card) its about Rp 85.000/person on weekday and Rp 100.000/person on weekend.

Jungle land is kind of Universal Studio Singapore, the same theme and games, may be the creator wants to bring the same atmosphere in Indonesia, so we as Indonesian people don’t have to go to Singapore if we want to enjoy universal studio even though Jungle Land isn’t good as Universal Studio.

It’s also a recommended place to go with your boyfriend, family and friends, because it has café and resto, phinic function hall and the most important is, Jungle Land serves you many of shuttle bus which always pick the guest up to Jungle Land.

Jungle land is so different from Dufan, it serves you a new theme of adventure park. Even though it just 12 rides that have operated now, the guest have good response for the opening of Jungle Land (the first guest on opening day is about 2500 person).
Jungle Land Adventures park have four zones, such as Carnivalia, Tropicalia, Mysteria, and Explorer. The most adrenaline games are Rumah Jelangkung, Disko (giant plates that will swing you about 45°), Hihibeuran (giant plane that will swing you about 360°), and Petir that I suggest for the great rides.

Another event that Jungle Land held is Hot Ride and Robot zoo. Hot ride is a park that you can see a replica of T-Rex, Brontosaurus, Pterodactyl, and many kind of dinosaurs, you just have to sit in a jeep car and enjoy the view of Dino Park. Seems like Jurassic Park the movie isn’t it?
Robot zoo is the main event of Science Centre that supported by Science Center Singapore. It held many of robot and science expo.

Pasar Ah-Poong

Another adrenaline place which is gives you the new culinary atmosphere. Yeay! We love food!

It serves you a beautiful view of Cikeas River with several games for you and mates. This place is inspired by Bondan Winarno, who expert in culinary from Indonesia. He builds Pasar Ah-Poong toremind us of traditional market in Banjarmasin and Thailand. Most of the seller are use boat and across the river to sell their vegetables and fruits.
Pasar Ah-Poong serves you more than 20 kind of stand food that you can choose from different culinary as Eat&Eat serves in another store.

You can choose Chinese food, Javanese, Palembang, etc. there are also traditional snacks, such as pempek, batagor Bandung, es duren, and es doger.
It opens at 08.00 until 22.00 WIB. You just have to change your money with eat card for the easy transactions. Besides, you can enjoy the river by a sampan boat and buy some vegetables/fruita from the seller on the river.
I also suggest you not to go at lunch time, because it’s really hard to get the seat and you will get so much time to wait the waiting list.

The Orient8 – Hotel Mulia

Often have a date in an ordinary cafe or restaurant? Don’t you want to have a super romantic dinner sometimes?

Here I’d like to introduce you to one of the best fine dining in town; The Orient8, which is located in Hotel Mulia Senayan and willing to serve you both of lunch and dinner. The Orient8 is only one of several restaurants that Hotel Mulia has, but it’s one of the best.

The Orient8 is an elegant fine dining which serves you Asian and French Food. And definitely, you don’t have to worry about the taste. Those appetisers, main courses, desserts, and drinks that served by Orient8 is cooked by professional chefs. Orient8 only hires professional chefs in order to give the best taste of food. Unfortunately, you have to pay Rp250.000,- per person to have a buffet in The Orient 8. Quite expensive, isn’t it? But if you have tried it once, you would know that it is worth to pay.

Despite its good quality of food (and of course cannot be separated with the super expensive price), it has a very great ambience which contains of a luxury design of interior that can make you feel very comfortable to spend hours.

As you can see, we can conclude that it’s a luxury fine dining restaurant, am I correct? And it is very enjoyable for you to bring your date here, I can guarantee. Mama Goose, Bar & Restaurant

Looking on those great places to have a date, and now I’m going to introduce you again to a place where you can spend your time romantically. It is Mama Goose Restaurant & Bar.

Mama Goose Restaurant & Bar is located in Common House level 2, Panglima Polim IX no. 16, South Jakarta. It serves Asian and Western food as brunch, lunch, supper, and also dinner. (On the first floor, there are boutiques so you have to go upstair to reach the restaurant and bar.)

Reasons why I would recommend Mama Goose are because it is classy, a bit private, and also affordable.

Yaa! Those people who have spent their time there think that Mama Goose is a classy cafe and restaurants. What makes Mama Goose as a classy restaurant is its design, which uses so many wooden goods including chairs and tables, floor, and other furnitures. Since it is well-designed, you will have a nice background if you’re planning to take photos there.

Other reason why it is recommended is, as i told you before, mama goose is a bit private. Why i can say that because it’s not that large to accept a lot of people coming in. Unlike other cafes that have seats for about a hundred people, Mama Goose only get seats for about 40 to 60 people to sit in. Therefore, this cafe is a bit quite and private. You have nothing to be considered if you plan to have a private date there. And for smokers, you also have nothing to be worried since it has outdoors area that permitted the guesses to smoke, and also a smoking area inside the restaurant.

 Next, the most important reason why it is recommended is Mama Goose Rest and Bar is affordable. You can have a well-designed, classy, and private restaurant and bar without spending so much money. For those who love alcohols, you can get your cocktail and also shot under a hundred thousand rupiah. It is really affordable, isn’t it? You can also have your main course about Rp50.000,- until Rp150.000,-, and and by spending Rp30.000,- to Rp60.000,- you can also have appetisers, side dishes, and also desserts. Then, what makes you take so much time thinking to ask your date out and spend your time in Mama Goose Rest and Bar? And also do not conclude that fast.. It’s not expensive BUT it has a good taste of foods and drinks.

 

Okay then.. Now you know, by spending your time in Mama Goose Bar and Restaurant, you can have well-designed, classy and private restaurant that serves great taste of both Asian and Western dishes, without spending a lot of money.

Located on Balai Pustaka Timur street No.C6, Rawamangun, Jakarta Timur, Kedai Locale Indonesia Bistro & Coffee provides Indonesian unique foods and beverages. Specializing in coffee, this restaurant provides coffee menus that come not only from Indonesia, but also from other countries. For food, there are many local foods served, such as Nasi Goreng Oncom, Nasi Pecel, Ayam Goreng Serundeng, Ayam Goreng Penyete, and so on. The desserts are also unique, such as Tahu Bakar Peutis, Perkedel Keju, Kue Putu, Tape Rock n Roll, es krim rujak, and so on. The price of those foods and drinks are not expensive, starting from Rp. 15.000,- to Rp. 60.000,-.

The place is cozy and unique because the restaurant uses ethnic design with many old displays, and all the waitperson are so friendly and nice.

Couples usually come to cinemas to enjoy films but somehow going to theater which has limited film selections and always full of crowd may seem boring. Actually, there is another choice for couple to have a quality time by watching film together in mini theater. Indies DVD Movies Jakarta, which is located on Tebet Raya street, Tebet, South Jakarta, is a mini theater that provides a different atmosphere and films that couples cannot get in cinemas.

The owner, Wim Prihanto, is a man who loves to collect indie movies which are not only from Indonesia but also from around the world. Obviously, Indies provides festival, independent, documentary, including those that are hard to find or never screened in cinemas. Indies have four comfortable rooms with air conditioners, carpets, sofas, pillows, projector screens, and speakers. There are also snacks and beverages available.

Customers can enjoy watching a movie they select by renting a room for Rp.120.000,-/room, or making a membership card which offers advantages, such as extra movie to watch and a chance to rent some movies at once.

Going to Bandung? You ought to visit Origin House & Kitchen, located in Jl. Sumatera number 21, Bandung. It is very interesting to see the exterior and interior design. It is a very cozy restaurant indeed. Another interesting part of this restaurant is that they sell organic foods and also home furniture. For the menu, they serve many delicious foods, such as turkey salad, pumpkin soup, and baked potato. The price is also affordable. You only need to pay Rp 15,000,00 for the pumpkin soup and Rp 25,000,00 for turkey salad. What a price! So, you don’t need to think twice to go there. It is highly recommended! 🙂

LASER GAME! NO PAIN, NO PAINT!

Playing game with your date could be a fun option if you’re bored with hang out. There is a cool game to do together like Laser Game. What is Laser Game actually? Laser Game is an interactive shooting game which is similar with Paintball. In this game you don’t have to worry about being dirty or hurt because you don’t play with paint but laser which you aim at your target. The target is a combination of sensors which are attached on a designed vest that wore by your enemy. As you shoot the laser at the sensor, you get one point that will be input into computer directly.

You can feel the circumstance of spaceship because the play arena is designed with spaceship theme in a big dark room with many glow-in-the-dark stuffs. There are also lightning and music effects which are set in the play arena.

The cost for a game (1 hour) is about Rp.75.000,-. There are also interesting offers, such as unlimited hours on Tuesday and Ladies’s night (free game for ladies only) on Thursday. It is recommended to book at least one hour before you come but if you have to wait don’t worry because there are canteen and another play arena where you can play Nintendo Wii for free while waiting for another customers. There are two locations where you can find Laser Game. The first one is located in Kemang Raya 16A, Kemang, South Jakarta. The second one is located on Raya Kelapa Hybrida street, Kav.20, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.
