If you go to Bandung with your date, try to go to Takigawa, a Japanese restaurant which is located in Dago Pakar. What is special from Takigawa is the location is in hills area in Bandung, but not only that, to reach the restaurant you have to use an elevator. Now, can you imagine how high the restaurant is? The view is obviously amazing, you’ll see Bandung widely beautiful with sky full of stars. The restaurant is divided into indoor and outdoor areas. Both indoor and outdoor are comfortable for you to spend time at, but don’t forget to bring your favorite sweater or jacket to warm yourself because the temperature is so low and fog can also appear sometimes.
The meals and beverages that served in Takigawa are also delicious. There are not only Japanese food and drink but also other Asian and European food and drink. But still the favorite menus are Japanese food like sushi. The foods and drinks cost start from Rp. 20.000,- until Rp. 150.000,-. The prices are not too expensive and worth with the food served. So that explains why most of the customers are teenager.
Takigawa is a very recommended place to go when you are in Bandung. It opens from 5 pm to 10 pm only. So, don’t miss to come along with your date!

how beautiful the view is! I don’t even know there is a Japanese restaurant with open view. I will go there one day. my advice, after eat sushi you can go to Bukit Bintang near it. 🙂

Yap, I agree with you. Takigawa is one of japanese food restaurant that serves great taste of food. It is a bit expensive, if I can give any comment about it, but it worth. The drinks that offered are also delicious and fresh, beside the ocha. Ocha in Takigawa is yuck.. But, I only have tried Takigawa that located in Jakarta, and not yet spend my time to have one in Bandung. By your description of its place and its ambience, i’ll try to come by once someday. For those couples who love to explore culinary and of course love to eat Japanese food, it is highly recommended. The restaurant looks cozy and has cool interior.
